Connor McGregor Had a Fight Saturday Night, Kinda

I’m not the biggest UFC guy. I don’t know grappling and striking techniques and I’ve never seen Joe Rogan’s stand-up comedy specials. However, I’ll occasionally tune in especially when someone like Connor McGregor is fighting. I feel like you should soak in as much of someone as you can if he or she is completely dominating their sport.

I’m not going to lie, if his post-fight comments and Vince McMahon walk weren’t so entertaining I would’ve felt like the UFC stole $60 from me. I don’t think Eddie Alvarez wanted to be there about three seconds into the fight. He went from confident to terrified as soon as McGregor threw his first left. It’s an understatement to say he didn’t have a chance. This wasn’t even a thing.

What’s next for McGregor? I think he should challenge a heavyweight. Try to get the belt in every weight class. It’s not realistic. I’m not sure that it’s even possible considering he would have to put on like 40 pounds to get to heavyweight, but if it happens the UFC can count on another $60 from me.
