Chris Carter Agrees to One Year Deal with Yankees

Finally. We wrote last week wondering why a guy who hits 40 dingers wasn’t signed yet. Sure, he’s on track to be Adam Dunn but at some point you’re okay with paying for home runs.

Carter appears to factor in heavily at first base considering Matt Holiday will likely occupy the DH spot. The Yankees have had a tremendous 6-8 months, bolstering their current roster while also strengthening their farm system. Organization-wide, they are probably one of the top franchises talent-wise in the entire league.
